The name is Fujita Goro...inspector Fujita Goro, leader of the secret police force and spy for the wretched dogs of the Meiji Government.
I was born on the first day of the year of the Wood Dragon (February 18 1844) in Edo, province Musashi under the name Yamaguchi Hajime. A name I changed to Saitou Hajime when I became the third captain of the Shinsengumi. I have been described as being an introvert and mysterious, cruel and cold, not predisposed to small talk.
I live by the principle of Aku Soku Zan (Slay Evil Instantly) and my main purpose is to destroy evil and the idiots that perpetuate it so freely. My men are too incompetent to even take care of paperwork. The Bakumatsu has long ended and so have the days of the Shinsengumi, The Miburo Wolves. A new era has been created - a place for the weak and defenseless to live in peace, a place where swords are prohibited and the Hitokiri Battousai is nothing more than a myth.
Also I have become a myth. I prefer it this way. It gives my fights an edge - no one would suspect me of being the last Mibu Wolf. Few are worthy of knowing anymore.
